miniSD question

So, I've been reading the posts, and I'm confused about what exactly you can do with the miniSD card.

Can you transfer items from internal flash to the miniSD card and they end up encrypted on the SD card or can you not transfer them in the first place?

If you can transfer them can someone post some files in their encrypted form?

I bought a mini SD card at best buy. The funny thing is that best buy does not keep the minisd cards w/ other cards, they keep it by the cell phones.

You can store your pix/flix on the card but you can't open the file because its locked. You can save the files to your pc but thats useless because you cant open it. You can however upload full mp3s to disk

Thanks dude, I just bought one a little while ago, J&R computer world in manhattan, 44.99 for the 256MB, and they have a 512MB in the computer for 59.99, which they say they will be getting soon. I'm home and am trying to put my mp3's on the card but am having trouble. I keep getting a parameter error, I installed the reader/writer software for the reader but am still having troble, can somebody help?

Yeah, I hear you about Verizon and bananaramas. The other day my car broke down, damn Verizon. The radio waves emitted from my phone are messing up my cars computer. I hate Verizon. And yes I have logically factored out the possibility of: 1) My car broke down because lack of maintenace 2) Old unreliable car. The only logical conclusion is that it is Verizons fault

i formatted the card but now when i try to transfer the file, it looks like its transfering with the folder and little paper flying thru the air thing, then it stops after about 30 sec and says , cannot complete transfer because of an i/o port error, then it says hardware problem, whats the deal with that? Also, does usb 2.0 mean i have to have a different software to run it, or do i need a new port?
