Can't send from phone to PC via BT!
i can't send anything from my s710 (or v551 and T637 btw) to my PC using bluetooth, it just says connection error. my theory is that it is because my systems (all xp boxes) arent listed as having any services on them. anyone know how to fix this?

Go to the SE support site and pull up the s710a - there is a ton of software out there for it - including file transfer software.

or try mobiledit that should do for file transfers and other phone content management as well

I paired my S710 with my WinXP box last night and transferred several jpgs and mp3s to my phone, but I didn't try to send anything from my phone to my PC.
I also deleted most of the pictures on the phone from the PC, but again that's going in the wrong direction.
I'll try phone->PC tonight and see what happens. Forgot to take the box home with me from work so I couldn't install the sync software, etc, last night anyway.

i can go PC to phone easy, it is just the other way. it seems like it should be something that doesnt necissitate whipping out the sync'ing software, i think it's a winXP thing.

that is kinfa like i can go v551 to s710a but i cant go s710a to v551 it says connection failed.. i wonder why

I had a similar problem, phone couldn't see the PC. What I had to do was go into the BT settings on the PC and make it visible. You have to make the PC visible before any other BT device and send anything to it. Hope that helps.

Mine works fine, don't think it's the phone. Another thing I noticed on my XP laptop, is that I have to prepare the laptop to receive a file. It's kind stupid, on my ME machine, I just send it, but on XP, it's like I have to tell the PC a file is coming. Also, I have to make the PC discoverable.

im having the same issue occ.. i can send sh!t to my 710 from my womanz v551 all day long but i can't send nothing from my 710 to hers.. i wonder hmm.. if we think back the rumors were that the s710a had bluetooth issues.. so the rumor went so i dont know..

i sent from me v551 to the s710, from 2 pcs to the s710, i believe from s710 to v551, but i think a service pack 2 thing stops me from recieving on the computer, like i have to set up the services, but i dont know how.

i won't be much help, but i'm not having any trouble sending to or from s710a to pc. i have the service pack 2 installed and updated as well
