LOL. No need to be sorry wasn't a bad break up...just an inconvenience of distance.

So far - so good. I'm (fairly) new to this area. I moved down here from Washington DC. It's hard to get used to the personality differences from DC to ATL.

Hi,

I don't work for Cingular either but I am a freelance vocalist and I travel around the country with a 10pc. band performing for major events held by people and companies such as Donald Trump, Exxon Mobile, David Tutera, Las Vegas Hilton, etc.
I also am currently working on my solo project(which is totally seperate from the band) for release within the next year or so.
It's a very fun job. Traveling and vacationing for free is always cool!

Sounds like fun... I play bass & used to tour. That's how I met my wife - she was our vocalist. Pretty cool way to meet. Touring was fun, but it could also be hell at times, esp. having no roadies. Try unloading equipment in Minnesota during the mi...

I know what u mean....fortunately, we usually have transportation and people carrying our stuff when we gig out of town.
The drummer and I are best friends, so we usually ride together when we have a local gig and I help him unload...he doesn't have to carry anything except his symbols and sticks when we leave town.
We have a sound engineer whohas to unload a
s*$%load of stuff when gig is in town...otherwise there's already a PA where we are traveling too.
It's fun, but it can be hell at times...at the end of this month, we are in Hawaii for 5 days, with one 4 hour show....so cool! I can chill out the rest of the time.

Not a cingular employee, but i'm sick and can't sleep so I thought I would post. I work for a video and photography production company, and what I do is video editing, video production, graphic design, and photo editing. Most of my work is freelance tho. I like getting part time jobs at different places to keep my life interesting, and i've found its a lot easier for me to get jobs than my friends, since i have many good references since i started working when i was 12. lol. I'm 18 now. I'm starting to do some modeling, and I perform in various shows doing dance/gymnastics/martial arts. Lol here is a link to my sampler video...you have to join the site but it doesn't take long.

I currently work for an agent store in North Carolina. General, front line sales. Way too many hour per week. From what I've heard from those who work for corporate stores like cingulartravisty, I think I got the short end of the stick. I hear they only have to work 40 hours/wk & they get benefits. I WANT BENEFITS!!! 👿 (Can anyone tell that this is a sore subject?)

We dont just get benefits... we're union. I have the best benefits I have ever had, and I am only part time while I go to college (that cingular pays for). The best part are my 3 phone lines that I pay a grand total of $5 a month for (taxes).

Sorry.... I love my job, I just had to gloat for a second. Seriously though, I work at a company store in southern california

I don't work for Cingular

But I do work for Securitas, which is the largest private security company in the world. We are contracted to do many high profile events such as the Emmy's, World Series, PGA Tour, etc. We also get contracted by many corporations like Lockheed Martin, Office Depot, Cingular, Nextel, and I'm not sure about other cities, but here in Chicago we do security in all major TV stations.

My site is an Office Depot warehouse, love my job, except when I got stabbed once when trying to break up a fight between two as*holes! 👿

YES, I too am an employee. I work in Washington (pac-bell market). I've been with Cingular for almost 2 years now, but I just started in Direct Retail in Oct.'04. I LOVE WORKING HERE. When I open my Fat-Ass commission checks, I just smile to myself and think, "I sell Cell phones, how easy is that?". IT KICKS ASS!!!!
