No it's not touch screen and it runs the standard OS found in most Sony Ericssons, its not the same as your P900.

I wouldn't really classify this as a 'smartphone' as it's not an alternative to any PDA. The category is of smartphones seem to be getting more grey all the time.

Yupp, this is considered a media phone. Mp3, you can put videos on it (Ive heard people re-size Simpsons episodes and put it in ther S700 for showing off), good camera, speakerphone for playing mp3s (I think), etc.

Why do you want to get rid of your p900? I have the similar p910, and I'm in love. I wouldn't trade this phone for free lifetime service.

i was thinking this was a 900band? why do people hav to say what phone is beter hello remember that cingular uses 850 band i wish people would recomend phones that we could use. i say go with the t637- i am a call center rep for cingular. the z500 i heard from agents is not doing so well with performence.

Yah, the k700 is 900mhz phone. And not cheap, so not the best way to 'try out' SE phones. I'd say go with the t637.

I took your advice......I got T637, cuz there was no way in hell I was paying a s--- load of money on a K700 which I couldn't even purchase directly from Cingular
