128mb is the max. I think anything higher than that is Pro which the phone doesn't support (so i've heard).

I dont know what it is compatible with, but memory stick comes at least in a 256MB size..maybe in a 512MB or 1GB also..

Memory stick, yes. Memory Stick Duo (not Memory Stick Duo Pro) only goes up to 128m *as of right now*
