Here's my suggestion... Go to walmart.com. Look through they're music section and find the song you want where there is a sample for it. Right click the link and select copy link. Then open up an AIM message and send it to +1(then your number). When you get the message on your phone open it and select GO TO. It will download the clip to your phone for you to store. Also you can do this with any music already on your own pc. Has to be mp3 format though

yes sir it sure does work. I have several songs on my v551. As long as it's a mp3 file, it will work just fine. All it does is take up memory. You can even send a music file from your computer and have an entire song as ur ringtone...

I figured out another way to get the data to my phone. I simply upload the file to my webspace then tell the phone to go to that url and it downloads it. Works perfect.

So I managed to send myself a link from the Walmart site, but it just shows up with the link in text format -- how do you get the actual mp3 to appear as a ringtone option? Do you have to have an mmode (i.e. $$) plan option?
