need help choosing between the v551 and v620?

i have a question this phone boast a 65,000 color display while the v620 has 262,000 color display is there a difference in the color display or should i look at the v551 because it has edge? IS there a difference in camera quality in the v620 and v551?

I'm not sure about the color display, but with a little common sense, 262K is more that 65K so I would think the display on the v620 will look better. I talked to the guy at Cingular and he said that EDGE is very nice and that it is the state of the art technology. However EDGE is only going to be used if you hook up your computer to your cell phone for internet service, other than that its pretty much unused. Haven't heard anything about the cameras but I would suspect about the same in both. Personally I'm going to go with the v620, it has all of the features of the v551 (except EDGE) and it does it better, ie: alarm works when the phone is off, 6 numbers per name instead of 4, and all with a more finite look with the added feature of chan...

EDGE is not a technology that utilizes a computer. It is a technology that will triple GSM networks data speed over current GPRS data speeds. Data includes internet connections with laptops using a Data Connect kit or a PC Card but Edge will also triple the data speeds of internet use with your phone enabling certain technologies as realtime video streaming and video messageing.

Because if you really need to send a crappy VGA picture to someone else's phone, you need it there NOW! Who really cares?
