Funnily enough I just bought mine here in Dubai on Thursday evening as my husband works here. So far I just love this mobile. I might be being a bit dim which is not unusual, but I don't think the external screen has a wall paper or anything. Or am I missing something here. I wish it did as that is the only thing extra I could wish for.

Perhaps I am not understanding your question properly because my external screen is blank other then when a call comes in or text message and then it just says who it is from and goes blank again. I haven't tried to change the icons on the bottom.

So when I saw this and discovered that it did indeed have a touch screen as well, I just had to have it. I don't normally buy on impulse, as I like to look up reviews on mobiles before buying. This time I just bought it anyway, and am so pleased that I did. The fact that it talks always ...

Hi. Thanks for your reply and hope your trip went well. Hope you don't mind if I ask some rather stupid question but-

What exactly do you mean regarding changing the external screen??

On mine, it is blank most of the time until a call comes in and it lights up, showing the caller details and either a cartoon picture or a picture of the person if I have taken one of them. After a few seconds, it goes blank again (if of course I do not answer it).

If I get a text message, again it lights up showing who it is from and then goes blank again.

So if I have missed a call, or a text message, the only way I can check to see if I have missed any, is to either use the voice facility on the outside or to actually open up the mobile to see...
