Hey when i got my service from t-mobile, the salesguys just put the t mobile sim card in my old V3 from cingular. It makes calls but won't do anythin else, plus i got cingular graphics all over it. Is there any way to get rid of the cingular, and unlock the t mobile so i can send pic messages/ access internet, etc. Also i was wondering if anybody knew how to activate the video camera? thanks

when a phone is unlocked, there is a chance it can lock up again.Your best bet is to get a tmobile phone... there is a a v3 that was made that does not have the video. if you don't see the icon for the videos then you dont have it.
thanks

You really have no idea what your talking about, do you? There is no chance an unlocked phone will magically relock.

Your V3 is not locked, it's a setup issue. Your phone currently is set to send/recieve thru cinguler. Call T-Mobile support or go to their website and get the correct settings.

As for the Cingular icons in the menu, there are PC tools (p2kman, etc) that you can use to edit the menus and graphics. Your other choice is to upgrade the software...
