Missed Calls When the Phone is Turned OFF

I was wondering if there was any way to set my RAZR to record received / missed calls when the phone is turned off. There is no problem recording received / missed calls when the phone is turned on, but what about when it is turned off? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

unfortunately this is going to be a NO! I do not know of any service providers that offer this feature. Being that that would be the only way. This would have to be a service so they could save missed calls to some kind of data-base that could send it to the phone when it is turned on again.

Thanks for your reply, but I don't get it.. If someone calls me while the phone is off and leaves a voice mail, i do get the voice mail when I turn the phone on. So, with that said, why couldn't the phone also logged received / missed calls made to the phone while it is turned off?

Because the system to record and forward voice mail messages was designed and implemented when you had to pay extra for it (i.e., it made money). It's now become a standard item (well, you still "pay for it, in the monthly rate), and if they didn't offer it, customers would go to a carrier that does.

A system to record and forward missed calls isn't. If a wireless carrier developed one, competitors would undoubtedly follow suit. But since no one offers it (and no one likely will, because it not a differentiator/won't generate additional revenue), it's an "orphan" service - one that would be nice to have, but that isn't profitable enough to create a need to develop it.

HTH!
