Hi,

I downloaded some cool ringtones on my phone. But some of them cant be set up as my ringtones. the phone just doesnt play it.

If I try to go in Multimedia-->Sound and then go to the list of ringtones and try to delete those specific ringtones which dont play, nothing happens and the phone just goes back to the menu screen of "sound".

Anyone have the idea how to get through this or why is this happening ?

Thanks

Hi!

I just had the same problem when i bought my V3.. I bought it used, it was very cheap, but it had the same problem like you have. So, i returned it to my operator, it has still guarantee on it, they repaired it within a week, everythink it needed was just a softwareupdate, because something wasn't right.. I even couldn't download or transfer ringtones to my phone, nor delete, but if you just want to delete them, then do the following:
don't choose the "delete" funktion.. use the "rename" funktion... when you renamed the ringtone it should disappear automatically, if don't, then you can normally delete that ringtone 🙂

Hi Tibee,

Thanks a lot !!!! 🙂 It did work indeed !

I would like to ask u one more question since u had the same problem as mine. All teh ringtones I downloaded..some of them I could apply as ringtones and they would play when a call came. But some of them wouldnt play even if applied as a ringtone. Did u get the same problem too ? Do u know how to take care of that ?

Thanks a bunch
