ok ive had my RAZR V3 for about 2 weeks,
i have a 30- day warranty on it too...
I just noticed that i have something under my screen... When the Backliht is off, the spots appear white, when the backlight is on the spots appear black... Shuld i try taking the screen off ( idk how ) Or should i return it for a new one? I also read a thread about blowing in the vents... how is this done and where are the vents?

Thats really strange because I have that too. When ever the screen is turned off there is some annoying white spots. Have you ever blown through the vents with your mouth? Because i tried that once because i had SO MUCH dust under the screen it was so hard to see even if the sun is hitting the screen, so i took one big blow then later that night i saw the stupid white spots. Mines went away after a few weeks but the annoying dust is still there. I really am sorry but i do not have any suggsetions to the problem you had.

I don't think blowing into the vents is a good solution - your breath has too much poisture in it, you'll get rid of one problem and create another.

Maybe the small compressed air cartridges they sell to clean computer keyboards?

It is dust. My brother has this phone and several friends. They can't get it out ... period. That's why I didn't go with the RAZR (well that and only 5mb of memory)... the dust is terrible on that phone!! Good luck to you... (and not sure if your warranty or insurance will replace for comsetic purposes. even if they did, i'm afraid that you will probably have the same problem anyway.)

Take a thumb tack use it to lift up the edge of the screen. The screen peels off, and you will be able to clean the inside screen. Be very careful.
