Motorola Phone tools Vs. DataPilot

I've had my Razr for two weeks now and aside from teh realitively weak speakerphone, the low level of the bluetoth headset, and the tricky placement of the earpiece speaker in order to actually hear anything, I'm happy wit the phone.

I'm coming back to SunCom after being with Nextel for the last 5 years. The Moto phones used in Nextel were GREAT. Anyway, I've noe saved ALL my numbers to the phone (ringtones,etc.) but would also like to save them either to the SIMM or, at least, to my pc as a backup.

From thos ewho may have used either program, DataPilot or Mobile Phone Tools, which is preferred? I'd also like to be able to create my own ringtones, ala Xingtones.. but not have to pay the $20 to do so, on top of phone mgmt software.
