I work for Cingular. I was informed by upper management that we will be receiving the Black Razr around the first week of July. No word on price, but I can't see it being more than the Silver version. Maybe $50 more, but I am unsure. I will post more info whenand if I get it.

I talked with a couple of the cingular sales people in California and they said that it will have video capture, but all the specs I read say no.

why would the black razr in the UK, Malayia, etc offer video capture, but the US Cinglar one won't? Doesn't Cingular charge for MMS from video captured images?

That's a good question. I don't know the answer, but I do know that the online distributors show it having identical capabilities to the silver version. As for what cingular charges for, I think your right. I just haven't braved cingular yet. Most other carriers, but them just yet. Maybe in a month or two though.

you guys are funny. the razr sucks. i had it when it first came out and had to do many XBM claims on the phone. it is thin, but its not cool anymore that its cheap and phone noobs can get it easily. it has lost its appeal, and its outdated. give it up

Word of advice.... WHENEVER YOU BUY A MOTO PHONE WHEN IT FIRST COMES OUT, IT WILL ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE ISSUES! It has been that way since the v60 in my experience.... Same thing happened to me when I got my V551 last ovember... I had to do an XBM because of software issues. So word to the wise, wait for the second software revision if you want o have no problems. Many of my co-workers use the razr with absoultely no problems. However most of them have done an XBM atleast once because of software glitches. Now that the razr is on the second or third software revision, it works flawlessly.

I hope your handle (silver02accord) is not your car if you're going to tell people their phone of choice is *outdated*. 🙄
