Hi everyone,
I am trying to figure out where to get a RAZR online for the lowest price possible. I would appreciate any info as far as the site itself, service, has anyone had any trouble or any great experiences. I splurged on V80 ($700) last July and it just broke so I need replacement. I refuse, however, to drop $800 on the RAZR at a seedy store in Times Square. Thanks for any info!

Just be careful where you buy it from. If a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is. I purchased my RAZR from Intelenetwireless.com with a new Cingular contract for $260 after mail-in rebates. That was a great deal for the phone, but unfortunately they sent me a defective phone. I called customer service and they promptly did an advance replacement and sent me a new phone. They charged my credit card the full price of the new phone ($500) and told me that I would get the charge credited back once they received the defective phone. They even sent me a prepaid UPS shipping label with the new phone so all I had to do was place the old phone in a box, slap on the prepaid label and drop it off at the nearest UPS shipping center. I di...

Thanks. I think you can get the same price via amazon.com and their service is great (I bought a phone from them in the past with mail in rebates) but I want an ulocked phone that will work with T-Mobile. I do not want Cingular since their prices for text messaging are outrageous. Thanks again!

If the V3 is available at your local Best Buy, you can now get it for $349 on a 2yr after instant rebates. Existing customer? Try $399 for a 1 yr agreement. That is a savings of $150 and $100, which beats any Cingular store, and no 2 yr. upgrade. Plus you can buy the PSP from them which is the closest thing to insurance for $39 which covers you for 2 years.
I wouldn't place my money on wirefly or amazon. Yes the phone is cheaper but you have to wait 4-6 months for a rebate. And customer service....forget about it.

It seems that Best Buy does have the best price this time. For only 399.99 before any rebates the price is actually affordable. Add the getconnected rebate $100 (gotta wait 3 months though, ugh) and the cingular $100 rebate then maybe this phone could go down to $200?

If you go into a Best Buy, you can get it for $349 with a $50 MIR. If I were a gambling man, I would say that the V3 is about bottomed out right now.....that is until the black V3 comes out, or the SLVR drops. The SLVR is a non-flip version of the RAZR and is just as thin. You can see it on Moto's website motorola.com

I got mine in NYC for $110 in Flushing. Don't bother going to the Cingular stores to try to get this phone for cheap, they'll never offer a better deal than what smaller stores can. I got mine for $110 with a 1 year contract, not 2 years.
Reason being that, the smaller stores get a commision for each new customer they sign up. That's how they make their money, through new accounts. That's why they are able to sell these phones for cheap.

Wow, dude, how long ago was this? You should call Cingular customer care (1-800-888-7600) and have them talk to the warranty department (or call warranty directly at 877-746-9244). Warranty can research the tracking number (which should be about twenty digits long) and they can give it to you. Then you go down to where-ever you mailed the defective phone from (UPS or whatever) and you can find out for sure where the phone is. That'a a whacked up story, wow.

FORGET ALL THESE OTHER RESPONSES!!! You can buy a RAZR on eBay brand new and unlocked (the USA Cingular version) for about $398 plus shipping from a reputable seller (about 1800+ feedback). At least that is what I am doing. No contract associated with it!

Try Munich. I was there last month and DT was offering a Razor for 99euros if you get a 1 year contract....
It just goes to show you how much things really cost, and the premiums Americans pay in their home market...

From everyting I've read, DT is using the Razr as a loss leader in exchange for the contract. The GSM market is much more competitive than here. It's a tried-and-true marketing technique.
