Question about "migrating" and the V3

OK, how do you migrate from ATT to Cingular. I currently have ATT and I want to "migrate" to Cingular to get the V3. I own the V600 and want to get the 75$ for it when i migrate. I just dont know what to do. Do I just go to my Cingular store and say I want to migrate from ATT to Cingular. Also does that offer me rollover minutes and all Cingular plans? If anyone has any info on this please let me know. Thanks

All you need to do is go to a Cingular or ATT store and tell them you want to migrate. (I prefer the company owned stores, just ask them they will tell you if they are) The credit for your v600 will show up on your bill, but only after you fill out a rebate form and mail it to Cingular. Then they look at it to determine how much they will give you and credit your account for it. You will have to pay for the v3 up front in most markets.

As for plans, most have rollover (nation plans $39.99 and higher)

Good luck

if only it was that easy to migrate. If your ATT account has somesort of business discount or was listed with one when you started the plan prepare yourself for a small sometimes large headache. Cingular is unprepared to handle migrations at the moment. So you might want to wait. And beware of bestbuy they have been known to create a new number for you
