Bump on the number 5

doctoss

In programming my phone, I noticed the number 5 was slightly raised. I could not tell if this is intended, or if my number 5 is coming out. Anyone else notice this? Thanks

That is normal.

It's called a reference point. Much like the "F" and the "J" keys on your keyboard (called the home keys). Also look at the number 5 key on the 10 key pad... it too has a small bump for the same reason. 😳

I know about reference points, I just wasn't sure if it was supposed to be there. I thought my number "5" might be loose. Can others feel the bump on the "5"? Thanks

Not only can you FEEL it, you can SEE it. The other numbers are cut into the aluminum, the "5" has a raised clear plastic insert from the pad underneath it filling the cutout, plus a little for touch.

Thanks so much, that describes my phone. I thought the number was coming out. Now I can rest and enjoy the phone.

You might want to cut back on the caffeine a little bit too. 😉

Please DO enjoy your phone. I keep thinking of people I can call just so I can use it.
