uk vs us model v3

I am impatient to get razr v3... I found a store in chicago off internet that sells uk version of razr...I calledmoto spoke to a customer service rep and asked if any difference beween phones...he said cingular should have us razr either first or second week of november and to wait for us version...he said us version more compatable with our gsm system is this bs?

I don't know... but, I live in the NW burbs of Chicago and think I know which store you are talking about.

I Can't remember the name but I think it's world electronics and it's in a part of the city where lots of people from India live...

If this is correct don't buy!!! I have bought one phone (a Siemens) from those guys and it was a disaster. It's software was messed up, missing accessories, used but cleaned to look new, language version was horrible.

Just be careful.

There are several stores in the greater Chicago area that are selling these phones. They are all overseas importers and many are run by Indians. However, you must have just had a bad experience. I and two of my coworkers have purchased the V3 from Overseas Electronics and had no problems. Beautiful, NEW phones that have worked flawlessly. Expensive, but what do you expect when you have it weeks/months before anyone else in the US? They did throw in your choice of HS810 or HS820 bluetooth headset.

Hope that is a help to anyone contemplating the purchase.
