6256i RIngers on GIN

I just happened to check my GIN and noted a listing for "xringer". I looked at the below link on the Internet and this is what is available for the 6256i, 90 choices. There are many more is you click on the links on the left of the screen. Due to our corporate IT department I was not able to listen them. My plan is still to hack the phone so I can use my own mp3s, though if any of these sound any good I may spring for a few. Doesn't make much sense, though, as I usually have my phone set to vibrate only, but the old "Our Man Flint/Austin Powers Phone" ring always brings back memories.

Please post how these sound if anyone decides to buy them. 😁

Holy crap! They FINALLY got some other tones 'sides Masttones on GetItNow fo' the 6256?? 😳

Its been only SIX WEEKS since the 6256's release.. nice ta see that Verizon is so punctual. Dumbasses. 🙄

Tho' I will admit I got a very nice version of 'Another One Bites the Dust' off of Masttones. Most peeps probably didn't even look for the (few) offered American tones on that one tho', since Masttones looks like its all Arabic tones at first glance.

Yea!!! And in about 6 months VZW "might" even give us Nokia owners a chance to buy REALTONES. 🙄 Too bad we're not LG or Moto owners. they get all sorts of download options from day 1.It's SOOO sad even the Moto V325, which was pulled like a week after release because of software problems, has EVERYTHING available.WHY DOES VERIZON EVEN BOTHER WITH NOKIA? It clearly treats their phones like "second-class citizens"!

I agree.

You know what REALLY hacks me off? XRinger tones didn't even become available 'til yesterday, the SAME DAY that the 6256 started to be sold at the Circuit City Verizon 'store in a stores'. Coincidence? No way Jose.

Verizon has been VERY CHILDISH in their lack o' support for the Nokia 6256's release. I don't think its a coincidence either that so many people have reported that they've had to have the help at Best Buy fish the 6256s out from under the counter to get 'em, instead of the phones bein' out on display like they should be. And offerin' only Masttones (a primarily Arabic ringtones service) as the only ringtone service 'til now?.. wow, another slap in the face.

Its like they almost WANTED the phone to completely d...
