Can somebody please confirm if Sprint will or will not carry this phone? Or is there a way I can buy one and activate it to Sprint? I am in the process of changing carriers, but I really want this phone and am willing to hold out switching to get it. Any information is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!

if this comes out on VZW and i think it will based from the info i got from a nokia rep, i seriously doubt it will work for Sprint. i guess the next question is if you're changing carriers, why Sprint? imo, they suck big time!!! They're the worst carrier...

Problem is that Verizon uses BREW language on the phone. Sprint uses JAVA (J2ME) they are simmular, but not the same nor compatible languages. Usally most phones will support only 1 not both. This phone supports both, but Verizon will probably cripple to possiblity to use J2ME in the firmware like they do with bluetooth.
What that means if your phone is BREW only you can't do Sprint PCS Vision or if it is Verizon and does JAVA only you can't use Get It Now.

Thanks for the info. Oh, by the way Verizon is not offered in Jackson, MS. I'm currently with Cellular South and I might just buy the phone through them. To the best of my knowledge, Cellular South doesn't lock or limit their phones. Hopefully, I should be good if I do decide to switch to Sprint and use the phone on their network, right?
