Sony Ericsson T637
SE 637 on Cingular in Central NJ
I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this phone in Central NJ area. I live in Summit (07901) and would appreciate feedback on call quality, reliability, etc.
And -- is the short battery life a serious issue? How long does it generally last with average use?

I don't understand the issue with battery life on this phone. It smokes the V600 even using BT. With BT off it is not an issue at all.
Ok Im on a 450 a month plan and i charge the phone wice a week. Once Sunday nights and one friday nights for the week end warrior minutes. the Standby time is nothing short of amazing. I cannot speak for central Jersey, but out west the signal from Cingular is strong and i have experienced only dropped in around 60 or so so far. It was on a call to another cell phone so even then i don't know who was at fault.

Wow, that's great. My T637 has NEVER made it 48 hours without a charge. Some days I don't use it at all, other days I talk up to an hour, but never more than that. I do keep BT on all the time -- but I use a Jabra headset and what's the use of having it if I have to putz with the phone to turn BT on all the time!
