Well, in the next few months, only 3 can possibly come out, the rest are at least 6-8 months, due to VZW being horrible at getting phones out. The V810 will be out first, then the 9900, and then it should be the a670, but I havent heard anything new about it. Then the 7000 should arrive at the same time as the a790, which is only good for international people, and finally the 8000, which I am projecting, entirely on theory for this time 2005.

but even the 810, may never come out.Maybe apr 30 but maybe never according to various forums here SO: wait till apr 30 or fall/winter for the 7000 or get an asian version of 810. I dont mind waiting a few weeks but dont wanna wait till Apr 30 and find out theres no 810 and then wait till Nov for the 7000. Its all confusing??????????????. Would appreciate further advice. Thanks

Ummm... it makes calls, it recieves calls, and if it's an old-school bag-phone, you can crack someone's skull with it. Bag-phones also make a handy boat anchor.

Who says it's gotta be able to take nekkid pictures of your girlfriend in order to be useful ;)

all tho the 9900, a670, and the v810 are the only phones worth purchasing in the next few months verizon is also releasing the samsung a690 (ptt), which means crappy battery life and you have to use there "push to delay" service. I didn't think it was going to be released at all but we got some accessories for it about a week ago. (I'm a radio snatch employee)
- got questions we've got cell phones"

If you know that the a690 is out soon, do you have any new info on thh release of the 9900, a670, and the V810? Also, what about the a790, or the VX-7000, and the Kyocera se47-V5? I hear the Kyocera is out very soon, and hte a790 should be out before the end of the summer.

Any thoughts, or info?

I don't have any solid info regarding any of the phones you've asked about except the se47. I spoke to my verizon rep. about it and it seems that it will be available late april early june. From past releases and judging by verizions stringent testing process I wouldn't expect to see any of the other phones out until summer if at all

As of today March 9th the "slider" phone (Kyocera SE47) is now available for $99.00. I've had the opportunity of testing it and its a nice little phone.

The PTT service will be re-launched here very soon because VZW worked out the problems with the delay and it will give nextel a serious run for their money--there are 5 PTT phones being released later this year and VZW's network blows away Nextel's.
