QPST is obsene
1. it reads my phone, then another time it doesnt, why?

Turns that QPST will give a time-out error after 60 seconds. Unlike a ping timeout, where you stop receiving signal, QPST pops the error based on a client-side timer: if it doesn't get a done signal in 60 seconds, it's wrong.
Just ignore it.
Click "Retry" everyone once in a while. A 1.95KB mp3 took five minutes to upload. Just be patient and ignore that 60 second time-out error.

"Doesn't read it"? What do you mean it doesn't? Did you turn the phone off, plug it into the computer and then turn the phone back on?

Yeah, you're supposed to. Apparently QPST can't just recognize your phone right off. You have to turn it off, plug it in, and then turn it on--BAM! QPST sees it. It's weird. Or you could plug your phone in and power cycle it. That works too.
