I know that this has been asked before, but I don't see a clear answer. Where is the best place to get a USB Cable? E-Bay? Radio Shack?
I also notice that Data Pilot makes kits that cost about $80 that includes a disk and can sync other things besides pictures?

Best place i found to get cable is at www.tangshop.com 14.95 with built in charger. I got one for my 6000,took only 2 days and worked fine. The cable you get for the 8000 will work for 6100,7000 and the 8000.I got my discs from Radio Shack.

I bought mine off Ebay for about $7.00 (including shipping). It said it would work with the 6100 & 7000, but it also worked with my 8000. It can charge the phone. It is generic and came with only the USB drivers. I found a copy of QPST & it works great. I can transfer anything to my phone: pictures, gifs, ringtones, mp3s, video.

I think just about any compatible cord is good. The main thing you need is good software.
