i live in suffolk county on the water, and my community is pretty much a dead zone and my house is also. with my old t730 (pos) i was never able to make a phone call anywhere in my house without dropping. now with the 8000 i can go anywhere and not drop. also, the phone can have 2 bars and u can hear the person you are talking to clearly and they can hear you clearly. hope this helps 😁 😎

Yea, two years ago I owned one of those POS T720 phones that dropped calls everywhere and most of the time you had to send a call at least 3 times before it was able to connect. This 8000 might be large but it goes to show that sometimes bigger is better. I haven't dropped a call once so far. It connects very fast. Well, sometimes bigger isn't always better in the case of the V710. Thats a total POS consider it DOA

Just got off the phone with a Verizon rep and here is another fruitless attempt to find out information. These dumb reps are not even trained how to give answers to anything. All they can do is offer me the 2 months of free Vcast but as far as any knowledge about Vcast they are clueless.

I live in Brooklyn, the call reception is good, no problems. The EVDO tho is not that great. In my house it does not work, it always goes in and out therefore making the download times for the video take forever and then it always has to rebufer. Whenever I try the EVDO it never works that well.
