Note on page #4 that the phone is a Tri-Mode phone...

Also note the manual version is dated as August of 2004...

We should see this phone released in the August to November 2005 time-frame...

Looks like it will have a slot for a mini SD. That's pretty cool. Other than that, it's hard to get a sense for its size.

NOTE: the original manual for the 8940 said it was tri-mode also, but it wasn't when it was released. I wouldn't count on the 8100 to be tri. Verizon wouldn't allow it. It would be too good a phone and everybody would want it!
