Does anyone know what the full retail price is?

I'm not eligable for an upgrade till october of 2006! 😲 ..i have the 7000 now but i want the 8000.

Would it be smart to just start a new account and get the phone for 199.99?..because i'm on a family plan now so i can just start my own account.

Any other way to get it for 199.99?..thanks!

Well, if you got a discount already within the past to yesrs then your going to have to pay full retail or wait and get it on eBay. So your S out of luck.

🙂 Your best bet is to check ebay. If you start up another account it will end up costing you more in the long run because of the 2-year contract you will have to start, hence 2 payments a month, one for the 7000 and one for the 8000. You could buy it Full retail and then put your 7000 on ebay, you should still be able to get a good price for the 7000 especially from someone who is still in contract like you and forgot to get the warranty and has a wet phone. 😛 Either way think hard before adding another line for no reason.

I wasn't happy with my v710 and luckly they had a lot of corporate people into day showing off the Vcast techonolgy. So I kindly told them that I wasn't happy and wanted to trade it in for a 8000. They said they couldn't do that since I've had the phone for a few months but gave me the 2 year price - $50 (including the $70 mail in rebate) $182 after tax and rebate. They said I could sell my v710 on ebay and get the best price for it there. Go into a retail store ASAP and see if you can do the same. I'm in Los Angeles BTW. Good luck...
