The a670 was one of the first video phones for VZW, and is a solid phone all around. The one problem though...and a real dissapointing one is that you can not send the video clips to anyone. You cant send it to another phone or email. No speakerphone, no tri-mode.
If you're up for a new phone and dont want to wait for the 8000, there are a few newer phones out there with even more features. There is the obvious v710 thats got the most up-to date features, and theres also the audiovox 9900 which has been an absoulute favorite amongst most people. Its got everything including the best camera VZW has come out with. Better photos than the v710 by a long shot.
For me, Im waiting for the vx8000. It will be the most up to date and cutting ...

The phone ive had so far, is the CDM-9900 by audiovox, but its hard to come by a new one its a limited release for reason.

The V710 SUX BALLS had it for 2 days then i sold it (worst camera ever!!!! 1 megpixal but pix come out horrible). The A670 very solid phone great cam and nice size, But if you want the best with the most features. The AudioVox 9900 is the best. Cam, Vid, Speakerphone (LOUD), Trimode....Its the best phone period. And again ive had them all but not the 8000. Unless you need EvDo theres no point to it. 1 in 1000 will use the EvDo.

Get the 9900 buy it off ebay. Again its the best phone!!!!!

I agree!! The best phone out so far has been the Audiovox 9900. All the features work great, super screen, great camera, speakerphone, voice dialing, ringtone downloads, picture ID, you name it, it has it all except EvDo.

But from the demos I've seen of EVDO, it will not be used much by most people. It will cost $15 extra and only give you short 15 second clips of things like the weather or news, BIG DEAL! ☚ī¸

To bad the 9900 is hard to find, it has all the most used fetures and the quality is excellent!

Just please don't get the V710, I have this phone and it is horrible. Everything you could possible want this phone for, camera, bluetooth, etc is all handicapped. Also I find more and more bug on this phone everyday, if I do this then this messes up, if I do that too fast than I have to take the whole battery out. Just a completely unreliable phone, except for the reception which is the only good thing I have to say about it.

The Audiovox 9900 is a great phone too, but the lg 8000 has 262k screens on the inside and out,a much better camera, everything else that the 9900 has, plus a better user interface, better sound quality(stereo sound + a mp3 player). And the evdo clips are not 15 sec....they are 2 to 5 min.

How about 5 min+ clips instead? 😁
