Motorola V710
Lewisville, Texas Verizon Wireless Store???
They were doing testing for the car dealers (as of last week) and said they would do it for me, but I eventually did my own 'OR' version flash, according to Spiff's post

VZW has apparently caught up to them in Texas, but call and ask for Cliff Jackson there first, before you give up on Verizon all together.

Sad when an empolyee has to take it upon themselves to try to fix something!!!!!!!
Yeah, my store said "We are waiting for Motorola to send us the flash file" it will be available soon [as of August].
Then I walked into the store with the file and asked them to flash the phone. Then they said "We are waiting for Verizon to give us permission to flash the phone"
The guys in Texas are probably in trouble now, just for being helpful to customers.

The other problem is that if there's something really off in that firmware release, they are stuck with it for a long long time because people may decide that the Texas ver...

he told me that at this time he is unable to flash phones for the public and he is expecting authority to do so within the next two weeks. i asked about decreased battery life and he said that he flashed his phone and those of his employees and he / they have not noticed such, but one should be aware that each phone is different (how - i havent the slightest clue) and that the new software might work differently (if not at all) from phone to phone.
furthremore, and this is the big question. i asked whether other verizon stores would know about this beta ve...
