Comparison

How does the 7000 compare to the a670. Just by judging from the average score given in the user reviews section, the Samsung is beating the pants off of the LG.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

There aren't that many reviews yet, and one v710 lover slammed the 7000 with a 1 rating. He pulled the average down.

For most people it really comes down to whether they like Samsung or LG more. Samsung users like a cute looking phone with a good display. LG users like the familiar intuitive menu system and great reception and call quality.

Try both out and see which you like.

the only real advantage of the samsung is that its smaller.

1-7000 has better menu
2- better screen
3- better camera, better video camera, better flash, and can video message.
4-has a rotating camera
5. can play mp3s
6. longer battery life.

the list really goes on. Unless you just need the smaller phone, the Lg is the slam dunk winner.

For me, the slightly larger 7000 fits my hand better than the 670. I had the 670 for about a week or so, yesterday went back to the Verizon store and compared the 2. I had my 670 and the 7000 looking at the same image, and I couldn't read the print with the 670. the 7000 was easy to read, there was no comparison. I switched to the 7000. Very happy. 😁

i did the same thing. i liked the 670, but the camera quality didnt even compare to the camera of the 7000. i switched to the 7000, i was planning on doing so anyway, just wanted to try out the 670. i think its such a better phone, im not going to list the reasons, because so many people already did, but yah, 7000 all the way!

u go to menu, settings, sounds, call sounds, caller id (or any of the 4 there) then select #2, record new. then u just record it and save it. just hold it up to the radio or computer or whatever u r recording from. dont hold it too close tho.

If you do it the way you described the sound file is saved in .qcp format. To put it easily .qcp sound quality really sucks. Why dont you just use a mp3 editor and cut the song down to 20 sec save it in .mp3 format at 80kbs then change the extension from .mp3 to .mid? Then all you have to do is send it to your phone # using vzw pix. This way it will have the "CLEAR CLEAR" sound quality

I bought the 670 when it first came out, great phone and I love Samsung phones BUT I returned it after about a week because the camera and video suck! I was very disappointed. I just bought the 7000 today and so far I love it. Pics are soooo much better, you can take a pic of a pic and it still looks great! Plus the video messaging. The 7000 is a little bigger than I wanted but it's cool.
