For those wondering and throwing out rumors about the price and release date of the vx7000, I just got off the phone with a VZW rep and he told me the following...

Release Date: 1 week from today (6/25)

Prices:

Retail- $399.99
1 year contract- $299.99
2 year contract- $249.99

He didnt even have any info in his computer about the Audiovox 9900 so I am assuming that it is being pushed back like everyone is saying. He also said that video messaging is being released on the 25th as well but did not have any prices.

Well being verizon wireless I assume the price for video mess. will be high or will not be high but will have a very low amount of videos you can send per month. Sprint charges % bucks for unlimited video mails T-mobile I think charges 7.99-10 bucks for unlimted Multimeda messages a month. So verizon will have there's priced @ like 5.99-7.99 a month for like 10-20 videos a month. They charge 4.99 for 20 pix month so that seems like the logicals price.

Prices will be bundled into text and counted the same as the picture messaging or you can send for .25 each for a introductory time period and then it goes to .50 each way (sending or recieving) The reason that the 9900 is not mentioned is because it was cancelled-at least for VZW. I have people ripping me on the 9900 forum but sorry, it's true.

You're **** out of luck there, partner. If you haven't completed at least 22 months of your original agreement, you're what they call a "non-payable upgrade." Most reps will tell you that you have to fulfill 22 months but that technically isn't true. You can do an "early upgrade" but what that constitutes is fulfilling at least one year of your agreement, moving to $49.99 plan (or higher), and signing a two-year agreement. There's no way of getting around that-- trust me. And whatever you do, don't use the bullsh*t, "I've been with Verizon for years, since they were _____." "I pay $____ a month." That sh*t doesn't work. All that's going to do is piss a manager off and he won't give you sh*t. Threats don't work, especially if the rep...

sh*t, well in that case you can buy a phone at full retail when you want. of course you'll be paying a lot more for it but if you're one to want a new phone every year or so (and have money to spend)-- more power to you.

Hate to dissapoint anyone, but I work for Verizon Wireless and we just recieved the pricing list for our phones for June 21st to June 30th. It's been said that the release date is june 25th. But it does not list the vx7000. Usually when a new phone is coming between the effective pricing period, it will show the price of the model on the pricing sheet. I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. I could be wrong...but for as long as I've worked here this has been the case.

The equipment pricing sheet can be updated at any time by verizon. Just because it's not on the pricing sheet now doesn't mean it can't be added on.

Well I never said it can't be updated. I'm just saying that normally the handset pricing matrix shows a new phone that is scheduled to come out during the effective pricing period. It did with the A670 and it did with the Vx6000 and it did with the A610 and it did with the A790. Besides...everyone knows that wireless customer service reps never get correct information or proper training for that matter..j/k
