flexing

first.. how do i find out if i have AA or BA version..

what is flexing? How do i, should i, do it?

To find out the version, bring the menu up and go to Settings->Phone Status->Other Information->Flex Version. You can also check the firmware version in the same menu.

I've flashed the flexware on my V400 to the latest V600 flexware myself.

My suggestion? If you're not having any problems with your phone, it's probably not worth it to update the flexware unless you enjoy your phone perhaps a bit too much like myself.
When you update the flexware you'll lose all the information on your phone including pictures, sounds, phone numbers not stored on your SIM card, bookmarks, Java games and apps, etc. You can back up some of that up first and then transfer it back to your phone after flexing it by way of MPT and P2K File Manager. Oh, one more thing: I suggest you only update the flexware and not the firmware as many people have complained of a lot of bugs in the some of the firmware (including the latest available V600 firmware).
