Cingular prices on 6230
I've seen messages here indicating that the price of the 6230 with a 2 year agreement will be $149 with a $50 rebate.
Is that $149 AFTER the rebate (I'm assuming mail in?) or before?
Also, I called my local Cingular store, and they were guessing that they will not be out for at least a month, as they haven't received any demo units or training yet.
So, it looks like it could be mid to late Sept. now...

i think its $200-$50 MIR with a 2 year contract, making it $150 on a 2 year. not sure what the 1 year or no contract price would be.

i asked a guy at a cungular shop on 8/19 and he told me next wed so thats like early sept.

I work for Cingular and I've been told by our Nokia rep that it should be any day now. He said definitely before Sept. 1st

I understand your frustration. I am looking very forward to the release of this phone. In the DFW area we should have it on Monday the 29th. Like everyone else is reporting, it was suppose to be out two weeks ago. The N-Gage and Samsung X427M should also be out next week.
