bluetooth phones in vicinity ??

hi, is the only way of finding other bluetooth phones in the area trying to send a file and then letting your phone search for devices, or is there a way you can search for devices without actually sending a file? any help would be great, thanks. 🙂

go to bt menu, paired devices, options, pair new device and it will search for any within range and discoverability on.
