Bluetooth Headset for hands free

What headsets are great? Which ones are crap? I'd like to have a bluetooth headset for the car and I don't really want to buy a piece of junk.

Any thoughts or recommendations? And how long does it work with the batteries?

I'm confused, what is a bluetooh headset for the car? Do you mean a bluetooth handsfree for the car?

Recommendations? Do a search for bluetooth headsets on ebay or google and follow up with some research. Narrow your choice to a few and then ask again based on what you found.

Most bluetooth headests vary in talk/standby times.

Yes, I mean a bluetooth handsfree headset for when I am driving.

There's a lot of marketing garbage online, and a google for nokia bluetooth handsfree 6230 yields over 400,000 hits. This is why I asked what favorites folks here had, and why. There aren't THAT many models, are there? I see the Motorola and Nokia all-in-one form factors like the hdw-2, I see ones with an earbud on a leash, like the hs-3w. But it is rather overwhelming. What are the drawbacks to the all in one? What is the realworld talk time and standby time of favorite units? What kind of batteries, or are they rechargable?

I'm interested in reading from actual users to gauge where I should spend my time and money. thx.

my father and i both have the jabra bt250. we love it! it looks cumbersome but it isn't at all. it's quite comfortable - even when i wear my glasses and a hat.

if you buy it from cingular online or the cingular store there's a $20 mail-in rebate (if you get it before feb 12).

it has a talk time of like 8 hours - and i think that's pretty accurate. i talk non-stop and i charge it maybe once a week, or every five days.

it also has good programmable features like last number redial from the headset. works seamlessly with voice recognition - i have never had a problem.

that's my recommendation.

I would reccommend the Jabra BT 200/250. Of all the Bluetooth headsets I've tried on or worn, this was by far the most comfortable.
