US version of 6230 and T-mobile
i know this is a cingular phone, but if you buy an unlocked 6230 from a US phone store, will it work without any problems with T-mobile? I ask because the US version is listed as GSM 800/1800/1900 but the european one is listed as GSM 900/1800/1900...
plus it seems like the ones who are using it with T-mobile in the reviews here bought them over in europe...
will i have problems using a US bought one with T-mobile? i definetly need bluetooth, GPRS, mp3/radio to work fine...
...
Both versions will work fine, just make sure the one you get is unlocked because unlocking these is a little bit tricky.

If you live in a city, chances are you'll be alright with a European version. If you live in a small city like me, we use 850mhz so your European band phone won't work. Call T-Mobile and find out what frequency they use where you live. Or just stop by a local dealer. One of the two will know.

I work for T-Mobile Business and I am using an unlocked 6230. GSM 1900/1800/900 and it is the best phone that I've ever used.
You can go to www.nokiausa.com to get the settings for the MMS and t-zones from there via SMS.
