cosmetic defect
Could you check the side and bottom of your phone? Is there a slight gap between the top cover and middle piece of the phone? My phone has a slight gap that is noticeable along the side and more noticeable just above the "plug in" for the charger. Is this normal or do I have a defect?

I have the same thing and I think it's pretty much normal. Not a big deal.

Does the top cover move up and down at the bottom left corner when the corner buttons are pressed? It happened with mine and so I took off the back and front covers. and in the bottom left corner there was a tiny metal (about 2mm x 1mm)piece that was loose and came out.
