Here is the CDM9900 PDF file that was sent to
me by steeda76.

http://home.comcast.net/~fauguy/CDM9900.pdf »

It says:
"The Wireless Devices Group announces the launch of the Audiovox CDM-9900 to the product line-up September 30th.
Audiovox will send Launch Kits to all Verizon Wireless Direct locations to arrive week of September 6th.
Call Out Cards for the CDM9900 will be shipped directly to the stores for receipt no later than September 7th."

So now it DOES look like it will be the 30th and not the 7th

Well at least this activity is something, rather than silence which has been the case since March. ......
September 7th or the 30th, I can't believe it takes this long to get a electronics product to market? Sprint had their version out last February. Had this been a car stereo it would have been obsolete by now, hmmmmmm, matter of fact with the mega pixel cameras and the new brighter LED Flash announcements maybe it already is. Ohhhhhh Well. 😲 😲 đŸ¤Ŗ

Originally when i listed my first post the Internal site had said the 7th but as of this morning they changed to to the 30th. So as of now Verizon has it listed for the 30th on there internal website. Sorry for the mix up but we all know you cant ever count on Verizon to do anything in a timely fashion.

Can anyone verify this ? ? ? In conversation with a VZW associate, he told me that one of the reasons that the date on this phone was held back to the 30th was that VZW wanted to make sure that their stores had the stock on hand to avoid a situation like what happen with the V710. (Some of their authorized agents were able to gain access to stock and sell before their own stores were.) I did not think that this really made since. I would think that VZW would just put a (do not sell until date) on the new phones.
