it doesnt matter if even aldcon is right because if he's right and it comes out in mid august, who would want it? We all wanted it back in march/april and I suppose some of us want it now, BUT we're all gonna have 710s and 7000s by mid august so its a moot point.

The phone isn't scheduled to launch nationwide until July 1st. Fact of the matter is VZW didn't want anyone to sell this phone today because all the warehouses have yet to get their vx7000 shipments in and many Verizon stores wouldn't have them in until today or sometime next week. If you get lucky you can find one in select markets, definitely not in GA or FL though. I called 3 stores here in the Atlanta area and 1 of them had shipments coming in today but couldn't sell them until July 1st and the other 2 completely denied the phone exists.

Yeah...the official release date, as i understand it, is July 1st. I think they'll roll out the V710 along with it. Someone on another forum pointed out that on verizonwireless.com they have been having this sale buy one get one free with samsungs, and that ends on June 30...so probably Verizon is making room for their newer phones...i.e. 7000's and 710's
