Anyone have any idea if this phone will be made by Toshiba as well like the Sprint's 9950?

If you go to the information page of this forum you will find Toshiba does make this phone. As to the release date we have been waiting months. The latest rumor is 06/15/04. At this point no one is holding their breath. There were some real passionate threads here over the last 3 months. 🙄

Don't hold your breath is right. I spoke to some very high level Vzn people yesterday and if 6/15/04 is real then it is news to them. Who knows when this phone will come out but since it is taking soooo long the only thing guaranteed is that it won't be the so advanced by market place standards when it finally does come out.

I spoke to two different Verizon reps today... one on the phone, the other at the store and neither of them had even heard of the 9900 and certainly there were no accessories in the stores. So how could it be coming out the 25th?

they only know a week in advance!!! so around the 18th or 21st they would know!!

We have been watching this sliding date since April 😡 I am disappointed, so much so I don't know what to do with the people I have advised to wait signing with Verizon in anticipation of this phone that keeps getting pushed back. Is there anything that can be done to get some pertinent information

i cant wait for this phone...i think im gettin this instead of the v710...just hope they dont end up releasing the v710 like one week after

Dont forget that Verizon has a 15-day worry free guarantee. So you got 2 weeks and 1 day to play around with the 9900 and "V710" if it does come out. And see which you like better. I would probably agree with you and go with the 9900. 😁

How are any of you certain about your dates? It would be good if you could state your source. There's quite a difference between June and late summer. Also, how does this phone compare to the Samsung 670 quality wise?
