Ringer Question
My 9900 beeps just before my ringtone plays when a call is received. Seems odd. Is this supposed to do this?

Yeah ! I realized that but happens to be its an advantage (for me at least) if i forget to put the phone on vibrate in a place it has to be, then i get those beeps and i turn the ringer off immediately so i shouldnt get all stares!

My step mom (in her 60s) called me from a restaurant and told me to call her cell phone so she could let her dinner guest listen to it! She is "etiquette challenged!"

Like Zahra said, this can be turned off. But I like it because it let's me know there's a call coming in when loud music is playing...like in my car, I usually find it harder to hear music ringtones when music is already playing...
