Who is to say that verizon will not stop this new method of accessing web without using their service?

Well, I guess nothing is ever for sure, but I think it would be far less likely for them to shut this down because mobileweb4u has their own WAP gateway that you are paying to use. With the free WAP, you were using Verizon's gateway for free without permission. Look at it like a dial-up internet service at home. Verizon does not forbid you from paying to use another company's services through their phoneline. That's my opinion anyway.
