Pop mail
Is there another option beside Soda Pop mail (get it now). Is there anything the exists that I can tell it to retrieve mail from Yahoo or other email service. I would rather buy the software out right than pay a monthly service.

I don' think so.
The only other option I am aware of is accessing an EMail client directly via Mobile Web, which will now cost you $5 per month plus airtime, and doesn't "retrieve" the messages.
