I just bought a Audiovox 9900 phone I am happy with the phone. A few things I don't like feels too plastic. Hard to hear on the phone and Verizon Wireless... I like the coverage area, but most of the phones suck, and the minute plans suck. Now that Verizon is the #2 biggest wireless network in the US..... Should I switch to Cingular and get more minutes, such as roll over----- free in network calling At&t and Cingular.. Sounds really nice, any ideas. I have 12 days left on the 9900.

Verizon still has the biggest network. Cingular is bigger due to customers. However, Verizon just realased new customer numbers of 42.1 million. Up 2.1 million from last quarter. Out here in the West they are sparce and will not make much of an impact.

It's true...at the rate that Verizon is growing, Verizon will be bigger than the new Cingular/ATT company in a year or two. Verizon added three times as many customers as Cingular last quarter. Cingular now has the most customers, but that won't last long. If you are in doubt as to who has the better coverage, see for yourself. You can find coverage maps for all providers on their websites. You wont doubt Verizon's network superiority after looking at the coverage maps. Also, Verizon still puts more money into network expansion than all of its competitors COMBINED. YES, COMBINED. That means Verizon puts more money back into their network than ATT, Cingular, Nextel, Sprint, and TMobile do COMBINED. I'd stick with Verizon if I were you....
