Poll-How many of us have keypads illuminated unevenly??
As stated previously, the right side of my keypad is not as bright as the rest. Therefore you can see the numbers brightly but not the letters. If it seems to be a quirk with the phone cause large numbers of us have the problem, I will live with it. If it is just a few sporadic phones even for my $49.00 I want one that works properly since I am withing my 15 days.So, let's weigh in on this one. Thanks all.

its normal, they dont have LED's under every key; it looks like the LED is on the LH side so its going to be darker on the RH side.

Mine is too, ..... but it's barely perceptable, and NOT a issue. I did not even notice nor look for this until it was brought up on this forum. 🙄

I'd have to say, if they had gone with the lighting technique used on the 9500 this would not be an issue. But I suppose the blue is more eye catching... 🙄

It's easier to read and as sleek, modern and future-istic as the keys looked on the 9500, I must admit these 9900 keys are more ergonomic and easier to use. They don't look as nice, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I do! Left side is bright and right side letters on 3, 6, & 9 are very dim. I just signed onto here today to ask the same question before I decided whether or not I wanted to bring it back (Id have to be quick because I already had a plan and paid full retail). But Im glad Im not the only one, so I guess Ill live with it. -conrad
