upload photos to pc/laptop
does anyone know how to transfer photos from e715 to pc or laptop? and how much will it cost me?

Yeah...so all that you need to do is to get the GPRS software which is free from Samsung on their website. You also need either an IR port on your computer or a data cable. (I used the IR port.) After you've installed everything, you can download the photos directly from your phone onto your computer (no need to sign up for the web messaging services).
You can also upload ring tones, wallpapers, Java games using the same program.

I actually have a CD and it says GPRS ver 2.1.5. I know that version works. Here's a d/l link that you can use to get that version:

Make sure that your computer has an IR port to begin with. If not, you will need a cable. Then..you need to activate the IR port on the phone. Start up the EasyGPRS program and go to the "File" setting. There, you will find the sub-menu "Setup." Click on that...and it will take you to the setup menu. You need to make sure that the "Port" is set to IrDA. Then you place the phone's IR port next to your computer's and it should automatically sync everything in your phone to the comp. Hope that helps.
