Playing music

Hi all. Is it possible to connect the phone to a sound system, in order to play the music louder than the speaker supports?

It is, but it's not going to be spectacular. Hope on down to radio shack (Or similar) pick up a male 2.5mm to 1/8inch to female adapter. Then you can plug in any 1/8 of an inch plug i.e. headphones, computer style speakers, or a 1/8th to 1/8th cable directly to your stereo. I've even plugged it into an 1/8th inch jack built into my car stereo. The problem is that the output of your phone is set, so the external speakers need to be self-powered to amplify the sound. But the output of the phone jack isn't all that powerful, so your amping a weak signal, and it's not the best sound in the world. I hope this was helpful to you.
