Battery Chipping/Damange

Hey Everyone....
Do me a favor and look at your battery and how it seems to lock into the charger? When you pull it out, I'm sure you've realized it seems like your prying out a nail from wood. Has anyone checked those locking holes on their phone and see the holes starting to chip away? I've done 2 charges only on my phone in 6 days and it looks like chipping started.

Anyone else seen this?

i have charge mine a few time and i checked too because it looks like it would chip but mines fine. the 4500 does have that weird shape though, and you can't gently slide it out like the 6000. and if it does chip and crack, it's still covered under warranty...

I have the same problem, so I've resorted to applying a dab of silicone lubricant to those stupid prongs on the charger. Bad design.

all you have to do, if you are REALLY worried about chipping, is take the battery off the phone and then throw it in the charger by itself. it's REALLY easy to get in and out, and that will give you no reason to complain about the design. i wish the biggest worries i had in my life right now was worrying about my cell phone battery chipping and not looking brand new...
