Sending email with this phone....w/o browser-adding free ringtones and wallpaper

Perhaps I am just slow in finding this out. However, if you go into messaging mode and instead of selecting a contact or keying in a pone number; try keying in a full email address. Then type your message and hit send.

It worked for me and sent to both Yahoo and RoadRunner.

The next thing I am trying to find out is how to add MY OWN message object to the phone so that I can attach it to an email or text message. LG had no idea on this. And sending myself an email to the phone with a mid or bmp attachment did not work either.

Will be playing with the BITPIM program and the Verizon Drivers and USB cable to see if I can figure it out. Recommendation: If you use BITPIM, it may take a few times to connect to the phone with your PC via US...

As far as your first paragraph goes,, it worked for me too. I have not subscribed to Verizon's Mobile web. Now is this considered a text message as far as VZ's billing goes and we get charged the nominal text msg. fee?
