"Simply Everything" apparently doesn't mean everything....

I was pretty excited about this phone but then....

I learned of the $10 "Premium" data charge. That in itself is pretty lame because Sprint has been hemorrhaging customers for a few years now and is barely treading water. So the iPhone changed everything and it's the X factor for everyone. This new 4G service is incredibly cool and it's great that they've beat everyone to the punch. BUT, if they just end up charging people $10 more when they've already got something called "Simply Everything" none of this means anything. Within a year other networks will have 4G service and then where is your power play for market share Sprint?

Secondly, No service. Tons of people here in NYC hate their iPhones because ATT is really bad. Everyone kno...

their market share is, they are the only one that has it right now. in a year from now, they will change again. just like every company does.

i love the barely treading water part, they just dumped, what, 4 billion into wimax/4g/clear whatever you wanna call it.

no one really cares if you are excited about this phone. there are plenty of people that will jump ship just for this phone, let alone the savings even with the $10. if you want the best technology out there, you are going to pay for it.

how well does your ipod touch work in the northeast where you travel? o, it cant get on the internet at all going down the high way. the comparison to the Iphone at this point is pointless. the iphone is old news. the evo, and seve...

There is a $10 Premium data charge because instead of having a 5G cap on data usage, it is UNLIMITED. And even with the additional $10 charge, Sprint's "Simply Everything" plan is still the best value in wireless. Remember Verizon and At&t have additonal fees for Navigation, Music, and TV service. But, Sprint includes these services in their "Simply Everything" and "Everything Data Plan." Not only that, but with those two plans you can call any cell phone carrier in the United States for free? And the minutes are only deducted for landline calls? Here's my $10 Sprint now get me the EVO!!!
